Con Con

Bishop Jan and Grandma Marg

Grandma and Grandpa Anderson came by to visit. Their vote is that Connor looks like Talyon. They will stop by again on Saturday on their way home from partyin' at Lake Mead with the Perrys.

Connor isn't sleeping much at night. Katy isn't getting much sleep either. She got a good nap in (about 2 hours) when I had Connor in his car seat, inside his stroller rocking him when he would squawk. Hopefully this is the key to Connor.

We went to the pediatrician today. Connor was only an ounce below his birth weight and measured 21.25". I think he will be a tall boy. I better start digging the hole for the basketball standard.

Thank-you all for your love a support with Connor. I must say it's nice to have older siblings to pass down baby stuff. And to buy us baby stuff. Thank-you again for your generosity.

We are about to leave the hospital

Katy and Connor had a rough night last night. They must have missed me when I went home to sleep. Connor loves to he held constantly and that's fine with us! He is just getting checked before we go home. I'm not sure if the internet will work at home, but I will keep adding pictures when possible.

Katy with Connor

Finally got a picture of Katy where she truely smiles. Thanks Connor for giving us such joy!

Connor got a visit from the Fetzer Grandparents and Aunt Lissa.

Yes more Connor

More of Connor

Connor is doing really good. He had some slight concern with his respiratory, but the pediatrician said he is doing much better. He is feeding really good. So good in fact, his little belly can't contain it.

It's a Boy!!!

Connor Michael Anderson was born just before 3am 8/28/07. We was 7lbs 2 ounces and 20.5". He's got a bunch of dark hair on his sore little cone-head. Dr. Sanders had to use forceps to get him out because his heart beat was too up and down. Katy did a fantastic job. I am so blessed to have such a strong wife.

Its hard to believe I am a father. Its still sinking in. Thank-you all for the love and support. Katy and I are happy to bring Connor into this world with so many friends and loved ones.

No New News on the Home-Front

I haven't had as much time to take pictures and add to this blog. I started my new position as a resource coordinator a couple weeks ago. I'm enjoying the change in pace and scenery. I enjoy the hours (mon-fri 8-4) but I'm still taking naps when I get home from work.
Katy is ready to have that baby any time, but Connor isn't quite ready yet. She hasn't eluded to castor oil, but we just got done with a walk in the rain. Hope to have some news and photos soon of our little guy.

Dad always said; "Many hands make light work"

I wish we could have witnessed something like this in Uganda...The Video is kind of slow at first, but be patient. Just when you think you've seen the amazing part of the video...something more amazing happens!!!

Evening on Beaver Mountain

Craig and I went fishing on Beaver Mountain this evening. I was a little slow when we got there, but managed to have a great evening on the stream. The fish are never huge, but are a blast to catch. The fishing can be technical having to cast our fly in dinner plate sized areas. Just scoping out some places to take Connor out in a few months. I plan to start him early.

Katy was "nesting" when I got home from work. S she was scrubbing, mopping and finding anything possible to clean. She's a little early for the pre-labor energy boost. But she kind of resembles my manic clients at work...minus the rapid speech and delusions of grandeur. Next thing you know, she might be washing the soup cans.

We ended up fishing until it was too dark to see. See you next year stream...

Banana Boat Outting

Katy, Sarge, and I went up in the mountains to let Sarge run wild and I fished a little. Katy and I enjoyed some "Banana Boats" on the grill. For those that don't know, Banana Boats are Bananas cut open and stuffed with marshmallows and chocolate chips. Then it is wrapped in foil and heated until the chocolate and mellows are melted. It was a wonderful evening.

We Found a Buddy For Sarge!!!

With a new baby on the way, we are afraid Sarge will be lonely with the decrease in attention. Katy and I decided to get him a little buddy to keep him company until Connor is big enough to play with...

Brook Meadow on Cedar Mountain

My buddy from work and I went fishing yesterday above Panguitch Lake. I had never been to this spot. But had a blast catching fish on a rod I built and flies I tied.

This is a funny picture. Fish seem to know just the right time to get fussy.

Same fish under submission.

Brook Trout are a lot of fun to catch and very beautiful.

This is the little Brook that we fished...

Day up at Brianhead

Katy, Sarge, and I went up on Cedar Mountain on Thursday and walked around Brianhead. One more month for Katy to pop that baby out. She is ready to be done being pregnant in the summer.

We ate pizza at the resort. Sarge was very mindful as long as he got to share the pizza with us.

We had a fun time. And we wore Sarge out in the process.
