Connor's Ultrasound
Mr. Man got his picture taken today. He is so cute and I already love him. Can't wait for him to get out here and play.

Doggy Door
Katy and I used our mad construction skills to install a doggy door for Sarge. It sure makes life much more easy now that we don't have to get up in the middle of the night to let Sarge out to do his business. Plus, we don't have as many bugs flying kamikaze into the TV. Before the doggy door, we just left the door open at night so Sarge could come in and out as he pleases.

Father's Day Fishing
Craig, Sam, and I went up on Beaver Mountain last Saturday for a Father's Day celebration. The stream flow was perfect, and the fish rose to our flys.
We are still trying to get Sam hooked on fly fishing. And after an evening on the stream like this one, we are one step closer.
I look forward to the time I can stand alongside the stream and fish with Conner.
Two months away! Man how time has flown. Katy is starting to get more uncomfortable. She finally quit waiting at La Suckesta. Hopefully that'll help her body a little. Conner is still due August 24th.

A Day on the Mountain
Katy and I went up on the mountain yesterday evening.
Katy found a nice shady spot to read. While I went and fished the stream. I missed a lot of fish at first. But just before dark, they started rising and I caught most of the fish the last hour of sunlight.
I caught this 16" Brown Trout in a very slow pool of water. It was the biggest fish of the day. I caught one just smaller than this one, but the rest were less than 11" and all Brown Trout. Katy was a good sport about staying until dark.

I Got a Feva, And the Only Prescription is More Cowbell
I love this SNL clip. By far one of the best.

Sarge Barge is Gone!
Well, here is a sure sign that we are having a baby...
I sold the Sarge-Barge today. I am having a little "seller's remorse" right now. But I already decided to sell the boat and sold it for a fair price. But it sold so quick, I'm going to have to deal with calls for the next couple weeks about the boat when its already sold.
I bought the boat for my graduation present to myself. Katy and I really had a spectacular summer last year using it almost weekly. I was able to share my love of fishing with Katy. She seemed to always out fish me (except a couple times) and always caught the biggest fish. Dad and I went camping about a year ago to Puffer Lake on Beaver Mountain and enjoyed fishing and riding quads...which we have both now sold.
Sarge and I enjoyed a couple days out on Minersville Res. last fall. We caught some very large planted Rainbow Trout, but mostly got blown around the lake. Sarge isn't a very good fishing companion...unless he is in the boat. And he has to have his lucky sweater on, or he'll freeze. He does let the whole lake know every time Katy and I would catch a fish. He got very possessive of his boat when a fish tried to jump into it.
I enjoy fishing streams much more than lakes. And now that Katy is a prego-nut, she wouldn't be very comfortable in the boat. Plus, the boat is a little too small to safely bring a baby in...so we made the right decision to sell the boat. But it still hurts a little.
